[Novel 02] Chaos Server Theater

How much of the outside inspires and influences the inside? In “The Story,” as I found while writing “Novel 01,” it was about 50%/50%. I might get inspiration from external sources like EarthBound and exploring the world, but, many of the ideas would start or finish from within. As I return to better health, finish old projects to start writing “Novel 02,” one thing is for sure: I’ll have an online presence when writing, compared to during “Novel 01.”

[Novel 02] Hidden Gym Apologies

My streams have been infrequent lately, so this one was like a return to form, considering I’d spent the past few streams doing art or retro content. What I enjoy about using jank blocks is that I can easily draw diagrams that either help me tell “The Story,” based on lessons I learned writing “Novel 01” to write “Novel 02” and beyond, or, talk about complex psychological topics like the poison/evil everyone has deep inside of ourselves.

[Novel 02] Cloning New Constructions

In the world of “The Story,” and as I wrote it in “Novel 01,” the city of Eville was the ‘big city’ in town, but as I’ve been building out the infrastructure, I’ve noticed that Eville might actually be a smaller city… If Sammohini works at Eville Medical, why is it located somewhere so geographically flat? It might not be the first hospital in the area. I have time to figure that out before writing “Novel 02.”

[Novel 02] Mistakes Making Lines

I’ve been really enjoying where my mind goes when I do these livestreams and when I take thoughts from the audience and roll with them. When I listen back to the audio, I feel like I’m doing a fair job reading the chat and then talking, and the numbers are good, but I think more so, these livestreams are helping me with “The Story.” I didn’t have an audience for “Novel 01.” I will for “Novel 02.”

[Novel 02] Manager’s Office Worldbuilding

After I got a Retro, some negativity, and a Speedpaint stream out of my system, I got back into my Minecraft map with a loose plan. Since my intentions are to tell “The Story,” I use my thoughts from having written “Novel 01” to guide me along toward “Novel 02.” If this world-building process can help me tell fiction, and if I can get support from those along the way, then it should be a win-win, right?

[Novel 02] “Perform Positivity, Please”

Well, it’s difficult to get online and not express myself honestly. I don’t know how this will turn out long-term on days like the day I’m writing this where I’ve felt like shit physically, and now mentally, for long enough to where it makes doing much of anything difficult. I do the best I can to express positivity elsewhere. I guess building “The Story,” as I learned with “Novel 01,” means progressing through “Novel 02” and beyond.

[Novel 02] Art? Chat? Minecraft?

This thing I do, these livestreams, are they Art? Are they a chatting session to discuss whatever? Or are they gameplay footage? Twitch has no good category for what I’m doing because what I’m doing is so niche and so different that it’s hard to categorize. If I want to write “The Story,” then I have to build on what I learned writing “Novel 01” to write “Novel 02” and part of that involves writing more interactively.

[Novel 02] Blowing Up Expectations

It’s easy for me to say that getting any degree of popularity is blowing up my expectations for the amount of effort I’ve put into writing, but really, I’m just navigating the platforms that people are using on my own terms. When I livestream, I’m using the platform to help me write “The Story.” I can use my experiences in writing “Novel 01” to show people how I’ll write “Novel 02.” Achieving my writing goals is possible…

[Novel 02] Lost Thinking Professionally

What’s the meaning of life? Well, isn’t that a tricky thought to consider, but, when we consider our thoughts on what life means to us, and when we compare our lives to others, particularly when we’re dealing with difficult things, sometimes we have some answers. Eventually writing “The Story,” where “Novel 01” and “Novel 02are but small fragments of that greater whole, is my “meaning” and it propels me through the darkness of failed American Dreamers.

[Novel 02] Cracking Into Geography

A cool thing about livestreaming or watching livestreams on Twitch is all of the little pockets of communities you can find yourself in. What I do – building sets for “Novel 02,” then eventually “The Story,” as I was inspired by shortcomings in “Novel 01,” using Minecraft – seems to be wholly unique, but I’ve been finding people that are interested in hanging out. On this stream, I was joined in chat by one of my favorite streamers, cracky.
