I kept this mini-rower for one month more than its usefulness because I needed a viable option. The gym I found is an effective stop-gap, where, within its hours of operation, I can row well consistently, so I don’t need this squeaky rower. I still want a nice rower I can use at any reasonable hour for those days I’m anti-social, but at least I’ve been able to burn off some superfluous energy – mentally, anyways.
When I moved furniture for minimal wage, we estimated the two densest things to move: textiles, then books. Bundles of rolled-up carpet were only beat by furniture. Large boxes of books might not seem bad until you have to move it a few times or the fatigue kicks in. All the boxes I’m using for books are smaller than around 12″ width, 12″ height, and 12″ depth. You never know who’ll give you a hand. Strong or otherwise.
I operate with a hot/cold approach to doing work. While I’m overheating my brain by writing, my body should be cooling itself off in a relaxed state. When I’ve completed my writing for that part of the day, my mind is thoroughly emptied, so then I can dispell some of that physical energy into a rowing set or doing some other physically laborious activity. When I’m both mentally and physically tired, I sleep almost instantaneously!
