[The Story] “The Story” Discord

Until I designed my mind-palace in the physical space of a Minecraft map, and thinking about my intentions with the Discords I maintain related to “The Story” and other hobbies, I didn’t know how I wanted to develop these servers. After writing “Novel 01,” I realized that before I started doing any major projects in the future, I needed to recruit editors, researchers, readers, sympathizers, and even guests. This Discord should now help with that goal.

[Media Meandry] Goblin Slayer Analogies

What I always found most appealing about Goblin Slayer, and what I like about the movie, subtitled Goblin’s Crown, is how it deals with trauma. The world of Goblin Slayer is overly violent compared to most anime, and yet compared to the lives of some, it’s about as realistic as it gets. When Goblin Slayer slays goblins, he does so without any pleasure. To him, it’s a moralistic duty, however amoral it is or appears.

[Media Meandry] Love For Lupin III V [2018]

I’ve loved the Lupin III series for longer than I knew why. There’s just something about a gentleman thief and overpowered crew getting into wacky hijinks before always seeming to make it out alive that’s appealing in a world so stifled by insufferable formalities. What happens when an anti-hero from the past arrives in the present laden with smartphones, drones, and everything digital that could usurp his throne, and cause his reputation to lay prone?

[Rowing Machine] 2018: Week 17 {238.0}

Fitness isn’t universal. What works for me might not work for you. Within 6 months, I should return to my former apex of rowing hour-long sets, which is not something most people would enjoy. Instead of being frustrated over not being able to do that, focus on what you can do with what you have, for your intended results. I see rowing as a tool that can help me do what I want: more universal tasks.
