[Downsizing Zeal] Improve, Not New

As this camera roll shows, reverse-chronologically, I took my first Methylprednisolone dose, and then found I had the energy to work on three separate projects. As I was going, I was finding myself going back to my old, learned, hoarding behaviors where I was coming up with new spots for things instead of working with or reusing existing spots. As I wrote for a note to remember: “Don’t build new pathways when existing ones work.”

Concert Review: Shonen Knife (2016)

Concerts can be a gamble. While it’s fun to see the city, getting to some venues can be difficult and there’s a lot of waiting around that can leave you drained, especially if you have to wake up at a decent hour the next morning. Some bands like Van Halen have a terrific early catalogue and are terrible live, yet others like Blondie, X, and especially Willie Nelson might be better now than when they started.
